From sign-in to scrim
scrim.tf handles the awkward part of pick-up competitive TF2 — finding an opponent at your level, at a time you both want, on maps you both agreed to.
Sign in through Steam
Your Steam account is your identity here. Signing in takes a couple of clicks and no password ever touches scrim.tf.
Connect or select a team
We link your ETF2L and RGL profiles and pull in your teams, rosters and most recent division. No league history? You can play as a temporary mix instead.
Create a scrim listing
Post what you're looking for. You can keep several listings active at once — different nights, formats or skill ranges are all fair game.
Choose format, region, maps, time and opponent level
Pick your format and region, say how many maps you want and which ones, set a date and time in your own time zone, and choose the skill range you're happy to face.
Receive opponent proposals
Other teams and mixes propose themselves against your listing, with their own skill level, preferred maps and an optional counter-proposed time.
Accept one proposal
Compare the proposals and accept the one you want. Everything else is closed automatically, and your listing flips to “Match found”.
Confirm the match settings
Both sides confirm the agreed maps and time. Once confirmed they're locked — any change needs the other side to approve it, so nothing shifts quietly.
Contact your opponent and play
Contact details are revealed to both sides once a proposal is accepted. Sort out the server, hop in, and play the scrim.
Formats
Listings are kept separate per format, so you only ever see relevant opponents.
Regions
Filter by one or more regions to keep ping sensible. Narrower regions are coming.
